Last Devenport, Inc. (LDi) was established in 2003 to improve service to the residential and commercial developers in South Florida along with meeting the needs of our municipal neighbors. LDi's principal engineer, Ronald W. Last, P.E., has lived and worked in Palm Beach County for over 25 years. Mr. Last has been responsible for the timely design, permitting and construction certification for numerous subdivision plats, both residential and commercial, and roadway improvement projects within Palm Beach County. His knowledge, expertise and ability to work with the County’s staff are unparalleled. Mr. Last is also a past volunteer member of the Palm Beach County Land Development Regulation Advisory Board, Palm Beach County Development Review Oversite Committee and Past President of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Engineering Society. Mr. Last has been recognized by his peers being named the 2007 Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers, Palm Beach Chapter. In addition, Mr. Last is a LEED™ Accredited Professional by the GBCI®.

Francesca Wernisch, a University of Florida graduate, has worked with LDi for over four years and has advanced project management training. Mrs. Wernisch, the firm's lead project designer, possesses strong organizational and communication skills to compliment the firm's coordination efforts. Francesca's experience includes design, permitting, site planning, and marketing. Mrs. Wernisch's design efficiency is shown through her knowledge of AutoCAD, drainage and stormwater design software, and construction administration for improvements. Francesca has worked with various municpal, county, state, and federal agencies to permit and close out several types of projects. In addition to design and permitting experience, Francesca is knowledgeable in the site planning process with Palm Beach County and has prepared several graphics and marketing materials for LDi.
